Held is a private home treatment room in Easton, Bristol, created for anyone looking for a gentler alternative to the traditional beauty salon.
From the moment you arrive, my hope is that you'll feel able to put the outside world on pause for a while. Warm towels, calming music, grounding rituals, and treatments tailored entirely to you all come together to create a space that feels quiet, comforting and restorative.
Whether you're visiting for a restorative facial or a sugaring appointment, every treatment is shaped around you. My facials combine advanced skincare with intuitive touch, while sugaring offers a kinder, more natural approach to hair removal that's gentle on the skin.
Intentionally kind, conscious, and cosy
The values behind Held extend beyond the treatments themselves. I work exclusively with vegan and cruelty-free products, make conscious choices to reduce waste wherever I can, and choose brands that share my belief in caring for both people and the planet.
The treatment room itself has been designed with intention – from the warm pink walls, the thick, sumptuous curtains to keep the light out during cosy and restorative facials, to the unusual folk art I’ve chosen to decorate the space. This is not your average clinical, white beauty treatment room.
Formerly known as Balanced Beauty Bristol
I opened the doors to my home treatment room in 2014, and some of you will remember that back then I was known as Balanced Beauty Bristol.
Since those days, I've welcomed over a thousand wonderful clients into this little space, many of whom have returned time and time again. Watching Held grow through word of mouth, trust and genuine connection has been one of the greatest joys of my career.

Arrive & settle in
Held is a home treatment room in Easton, Bristol. It’s a private space, where you will be welcomed by me, and shown into my cosy treatment room. It’ll just be you and I, so there’s no intimidating reception area with lots of people.

Find held - ritual skin therapies in Easton, Bristol
Held is a private home treatment room on Woodborough Street in Easton, just off St Marks Road. The full address can be found on your booking confirmation.
There is free on-street parking, however you may not be able to park directly outside. It’s a busy residential street, but there’s usually a space somewhere.
Stapleton Road railway station is approximately 5 minutes walk from Held, and numerous buses stop nearby on Stapleton Road.
